Description
Hephaestus, the god of fire and blacksmithing, comes with a hammer, anvil, forging tongs, shovel, and shield. As the Greek god of blacksmithing and fire, Hephaestus is married to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. According to myth, his mother Hera threw him from Olympus when he was a baby because he was small and unattractive. He fell into the Okeanos, a mighty river, where he was rescued and raised by two sea nymphs who taught him the blacksmith's trade. As an adult, he crafted a golden throne for Hera that bound her when she sat on it, preventing her from being freed. This set includes Hephaestus with a hammer, anvil, blacksmith's tongs, shovel, and shield.
