Description
Brass Pepper Mill Alexander No 102
Alexander pepper mills are the original inspiration for the term "pepper grinder" because these mills actually grind the pepper rather than merely crushing it. Traditional pepper mills only smash the peppercorns, which significantly limits the release of flavor. The Alexander mill uses a double-row of grinders to catch and crack each peppercorn before drawing it down to the teeth for an optimal grind.
You can adjust the grind from fine to coarse to suit your recipe. Each mill offers ample space to fill with your favorite dry seasonings and allows you to grind directly over your food. It's generally not recommended to grind spices with a soft core in these mills.
The Alexander Mills have been a reliable product on the market since 1977, handmade to exacting standards. The metal grinding mechanism is adjustable from fine to coarse and is designed to maximize the flavor and aroma by thoroughly grinding the pepper. A long arm makes grinding effortless, and the open bottom with a flanged base ensures stability. The body is made of durable, polished brass.
